What our Members Say

Twice a year AMCAP members convene in Salt Lake City for a two-day convention. Speakers include Church leaders, guest presenters, AMCAP members, and General Authorities. Conventions provide training, research findings, innovative treatment efforts, and multi-disciplinary presentations at the intersection of human sciences and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Handouts from the recent convention, as well as from several past conventions, are now available to members in the Members Only Section. If you are a current member of AMCAP, you can enter Members Only by entering the username and password found on your membership card. Or, if you can't find this card, contact AMCAP to request an emailed reminder of your access codes. If you are not currently a member of AMCAP, you can join or renew AMCAP to gain access to these handouts and other member-specific resources.

Recordings are available of AMCAP convention talks, from 1990 to the present. These talk tapes and CD's can extend the warmth, wit, and wisdom of the convention experience - even if you've never been able to attend a convention in SLC. Order and enjoy convention talk recordings on a wide range of topics, presented by a rich variety of LDS mental health professionals over a span of nearly 20 years.
